To support initiatives for sustainable community based, gender sensitive development with particular focus on: Drinking water supply, environmental sanitation, non-formal education, Vocational skills development, Reproductive and Primary Health Care, Natural resources management and Human & Institutional Development.
To assist and support the communities in the formation of Community Based Organizations (CBOs) as local institutions to monitor and supervise and strengthening of existing CBOs (M+F) to ensure sustainability of development initiatives through Community Mobilization.
To support and develop replicable models and strategies for sustainable development based at the grass roots on active community participation and local resource mobilization.
To encourage build and strengthen the technical and management capacity of partner developmental organizations (CBOs, NGOs and Government line departments).
To create meaningful and effective linkages among different stakeholders including development organizations (private & public) for sustainable development.
